It's good to be a Virtual Assistant
I must admit the past few weeks have been crazy. Sick children and sick myself. If I had a full-time job outside of the house, I surely would of been fired by now. Yes, it's definitely great working from home where you can manage the spews and fevers and get work done during naps.
Despite all the drama I have managed to get some new clients needing custom web sites, 2 who need Search Engine Optimization consulting, a couple of e-mail stationery or HTML stationery leads in and I have picked up a couple of more VAs needing consulting/mentoring help. It's going to be a busy couple of weeks.
I now must also focus on my taxes and make sure my books are in order. I don't know what I would do without Quickbooks, I love that program. Once all of my entries are checked and double checked I will have Turbo Tax automatically pull the info from Quickbooks. If you're a VA or sole proprietor or small business person - you MUST use these 2 programs, they work seemlessly together and make tax time, well, almost bearable.
Hope your 2005 is off to a good start...
